The Totem Theory 

Most viewers focus on the spinning top (the totem). In the final scene, the top wobbles slightly, but we never see it fall. However, many fans point out a different "hidden" totem: Cobb’s wedding ring.

- In Dreams: Cobb is always wearing his wedding ring.

- In Reality: Cobb is not wearing the ring.

In the final scene at the airport and at home, Cobb is not wearing the ring, which strongly implies he is truly awake.

Why the Ending is Perfect

The real "Ending Explained" isn't about physics; it's about character growth. For the entire movie, Cobb is obsessed with his totems to distinguish between layers of reality.
